As the match began in Allianz Arena it was just another day at the office for Munich players as they were Bundesliga title holders. Bayern Munich placed an attacking line-up with 4-2-3-1 formation whereas Augsburg tried to neutralise Munich attacking strategy with a formation of 3-4-1-2. It was the trick which Augsburg got deceived and hence gave the opportunity to Bayern Munich to toy with their defence resulting in a 6-0 loss. From the start of the second half, Bayern Munich showed why they were Title holder from five consecutive times, as they know how to outplay their opponents.
