Atletico de Kolkata nails the match by 1-0It was clearly not Delhi’s day, as players committed several grave mistakes like missing penalty and coordination among the players was not up to the mark, otherwise, Delhi’s player would have led the match in the first half time. ATK goalkeeper Majumder and defender Prabir Das made all the difference to help them retain a clean slate at the break.

The first 45 minutes was all about hits and misses and it hugely disappointed fans of both the sides as not even a goal was scored in first-half of the match. Majumder’s excellent game helped ATK to maintain an upper hand in the match and his three back-to- back save made all the difference. First Majumder stopped the low drive of Malouda and then he blocked the shots of Richard Gadze and Marcos Tebar with equal efficiency.

Along with Majumder, defender Das also created a lot of trouble for Delhi Dynamos and his quick reaction near the goal line disappointed Delhi players’ several times. Das denied the 22nd minute lead to Delhi Dynamos by his stonewalled defence.

In the 39th minute, the home side had the best chance to score a goal when Dougie set it up for Belencoso from the right but the Spaniard made a mess of it with a wayward header off the far post.
