Learn From Life of the First Transgender Judge in India – Joyita Mondal

She was bullied,

She was forced to drop out from her school,

She was forced to beg for a living,

But after all these things, Joyita Mondal made her presence clear to the world by becoming the first transgender judge at the Islampur National Lok Adalat. Her struggle is real and very inspirational; she had to learn from life, that this society has always treated those people with cruelties, which are different from them.

According to Joyita, she doesn’t feel bad for being bullied by the society for her being different. Those days were just encouraging her to prove the society that people like her also can be worthy and better than many of the people who judge a book only by its cover.

This was intended to help those transgender people like her who face daily challenges in life. This organisation has worked with over 2,200 trans-genders in the region. Her life experiences teach her not only work for her community, also for anyone and everyone who are suffering from a social dilemma.

In her words “people almost treated me as an untouchable and even passed abusive comments
